Opportunites for Charitable Contributions

The service W. E. offers, free to our clients, is given by trained volunteer staff, who do not receive any monetary compensation for the work they do. In some cases the "trained volunteers" are retired professionals offering their experience and expertise to W.E. and the island they call home.

But financial support is an issue we must deal with. Although we do not have to meet a pay roll there is a need for operational funds to meet the expenses of rent for office space, basic utilities, office supplies, professional support (tax preparation, bookkeeping etc.), telephone service, computer support, and professional insurance. More than ninety percent of our organization’s support comes from individual private donations, not from grants.
